International students make significant contributions to the Australian community, both studying at Australian higher education institutions and beyond. To support international students in their life and study within Australia, providers need to engage students to understand the challenges they face and their specific needs. This session presents a current research project on good practice in international student engagement and discusses how support and engagement ensures quality in international education.

After the success of TEQSA’s national workshops supporting the online TEQSA Masterclass: Contract cheating detection and deterrence, we bring together some of Australia’s leading academic integrity experts to deliver this one-time
mini-Masterclass. The session allows participants to explore a variety of academic integrity issues and best practice for deterring and detecting contract cheating. Note: This session is not recommended for those who have already attended an in-person Masterclass workshop.
