Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre

The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) is located on the banks of the iconic Yarra River in South Wharf. Only 20 minutes from Melbourne Airport, and close to trains, trams and buses. The MCEC is front and centre in a wonderful and buzzing city. Alongside the Yarra River and just a stroll from Melbourne’s famous restaurants, bars, shops and arts precinct, the MCEC is also close to quality accommodation.

Our location at Federation Square is a recognition of our shared history and the importance of Koorie peoples as part of a broader 21st century community.


Fitzroy Aboriginal Heritage Walking Trail
The Aboriginal History of Fitzroy walking trail identifies sixteen sites of significance. It was the birthplace of many important Aboriginal organisations, centre stage for the fight for civil rights and a meeting place for linking-in with family. Each site is marked with a bronze plaque identifying key details.
